Brazilian Rainbow Boa

Epicrates Cenchria Cenchria
The Brazilian rainbow boa is so called due to the iridescence of the red-magenta scales along its 5-7 foot body.
They inhabit river valleys and lowlands of Brazil, Suriname and portions of Venezuela.
Their biggest threats have been collection for the pet trade and deforestation for ranches and agricultural lands.
