Common Crow*

Corvus Brachyrhynchos
The crow is not only native but fairly common to the entire continental United States and expanses of Canada.
They are omnivores consuming insects, worms, fruits, grains and nuts, as well as small animals such as frogs, mice, young rabbits, and carrion.
Males and females build nests high up in trees where the females lay 4 to 5 light green colored eggs with brown markings.
American crows are considered among the most intelligent birds; they are resourceful at foraging and are extremely difficult for researchers to capture in traps.
They are protected under the Migratory Bird Act.
