Common emperor scorpion

Pandinus imperator
Common emperor scorpions are found in tropical rainforests and open savannah in Africa, preferring hot, humid environments.
They live in empty or self-made burrows up to 12 inches in length, often found beneath rocks, logs, tree roots, or vegetation debris.
Scorpions are sensitive to light, so they are primarily nocturnal.
They feed on almost anything that is smaller in size, including arachnids, crickets, insects, small lizards, mealworms, millipedes, and small mice.
