Goeldi's monkey

Callimico goeldii
Goeldi's monkeys can be found in the northern Amazon forests of South America.
They are dark brown or black in color. Some Goeldi's monkeys have white areas on and around the face.
Goeldi's monkeys weigh 13 to 31 ounces and are typically 1 to 2 feet in length.
Their diet consists of fruits, insects, and small vertebrates.
During the first 2 weeks, the mother carries the young. The father then carries the young during the third week, due to weight of the young.
