Kinkajou

Potos flavus
Kinkajous are found in tropical forests from Mexico to Brazil.
Kinkajous have a prehensile tail, clawed fingers, and reversible hind feet making it easy for them to climb in the trees.
They are 4 to 10 pounds in weight and 30 to 50 inches in length. They have a fuzzy appearance with honey-colored fur.
Kinkajous are nocturnal, spending their days sleeping in dens.
Kinkajous primarily feed on fruit but have a long, extendable tongue that is appoximately 5 inches in length that allows them to eat small insects or nectar.
