Moustached Parakeet*
- Psittacula Alexandri
- A medium-sized bird at 13 inches long, the moustached parakeet is a green bird with a characteristic black stripe between the eyes and a black chin.
- They are native to northern India, Southeast Asia, Bali, and Java where they inhabit lowland plains and deciduous forests.
- The species is fairly sexually dimorphic with males having red beaks and females usually having black beaks.
