Northern Orange-bellied Fruit Dove*

Ptilinopus Iozonus Jobiensis
This small pigeon is mainly green with a distinguishable orange patch on the lower breast.
They live in lowland rainforests, secondary forest, and mangroves of New Guinea and surrounding islands of the south Pacific.
Orange-bellied fruit doves eat mainly fruit that consist of various fig species.
During the breeding season, females lay a single egg high up in the trees.
