Silver-beaked Tanager

Ramphocelus Carbo
This small passerine is dark with a red-maroon head, black upper beak, and silvery lower beak.
They inhabit open woodlands and forest edges throughout northern South America where they feed on fruit, and small insects.
Once a cup nest is formed, the female will lay 2 greenish-blue eggs that are incubated for approximately 12 days.
